If you are interested in finding out the basics for marketing your MLM online, this is the second tip.  In order to market online, the first thing you need is a system.  You could manage without a system, but having one will save you lots of time, energy and money.  This second basic MLM online marketing tip is also very important.  Once you have a system in place, you need to get some training!  Training, or shortage of training, is in fact one of the biggest problems in MLM.  Because very few people who join an MLM get any training. Online, however, marketing is key!

How can I get training?  Well if you took tip number 1, getting a system, you would now have access to training.  Without the system, you could maybe try to find a mentor online who would be willing to give up his time to coach you. If not a mentor, then it is a matter of trial and error, which could take you a considerable amount of time. Sadly if you have been doing MLM offline you will probably go out and put out spam all over the internet as you have been taught.  The people who do this are not professional marketers.  It leads to people removing you from their lists of friends, because they are fed up of being sold to.

Getting some form of training online is extremely important. If you consider that you would have to be trained for any new job, then it is just the same on the internet. You are very unlikely to know exactly what to do on your first day online.  If you have been taught out-dated methods, you need to un-learn those first! Attraction Marketing is used online to find prospects. We do not chase prospects around, we do not cold call anyone and we do not pester people as they go about their work. Everything you learned about offline is pretty much back to front on the internet.

As well as trainings on all the social media sites, you will also need training about posting advertisements, putting up banner adverts, how to do paid marketing such as pay-per-click and how to actually use Attraction Marketing.  When you understand how to market, you will be able to attract leads into your business.  The best thing to do when you are just starting, is to learn to master just one or two methods of lead generation.  When you are getting 10-20 leads a day from your efforts, you can continue to do that method, but also get some training on another method and stick at that until you have mastered that one too.

Eventually you will have built up several different ways to attract leads into your business.  But all this takes time.  Do not give up after a month or two, because it does take time to understand marketing online completely.  If you think that you are not getting as many leads as you should be getting, you need to step back and re-think.  It could just be one little tweak that makes all the difference.  Just go over the training again, and see if you can pick up something you may have missed the first time. And then just keep going!

Most people use their own name for their blog.  Of course if you have a popular name this may not be possible.  In this case you would add something to it, such as WhoIs….. or WorkWith….  Always remember that whatever social media sites you join, they should be in your name as much as is possible.

You will then be slowly branding YOURSELF!

article is archived by publishers and directories…..available well after it was originally offered. Plus publishers and web masters will often “pick up” your

2. Business cards are always a good method…and more inexpensive than one realizes. You can even make your own. Just pass them out like candy….stores, church, ball

games, local events, restaurants (leave 1 with your bill), businesses you frequent, networking meetings, local Chamber Of Commerce. The possibilities are only limited

by your imagination.

3. Flyers, posters, post cards, brochures, etc. can also be done very inexpensively. You can make your own on your PC or purchase custom or ready made templates from

numerous online providers. You could even strike up a joint venture with a local community provider. They print it for you and include their “advert” somewhere…you

distribute. You both win, you pay less, and maybe influence that partner to be involved in your business.

4. Web decals on your vehicle(s) is another inexpensive method. I have one on each of our family cars (back window) with a short "catch line" and my url. Cost was ~

5. Newspaper/magazine ads can be found that aren’t going to cost an arm and a leg. Local publications are a good place to start. For some of my services I've found
